1. How did Bob Marley Get started with singing?
When Bob was 14 years old he learned how to play the guitar and wrote his own songs (“Bob Marley Biography”). He dreamed of becoming famous and he wanted to pursue the dream for real, to become the world’s first reggae singer. In fact he followed that dream when he was 16 (ChaCha). His first two singles “Judge not” and “One Cup of Coffee” were his biggest (“Bob Marley Biography”). Finally that dream became reality.
2. What were the struggles Bob Marley faced?
Bob was born in Jamaica and was very poor, with only his mother supporting him (Farley). His father died when he was ten years old from a heart attack at age 60 (Romer). After saving enough money, Bob moved from Jamaican to the United States. He got married to a woman named Rita Anderson, and had 13 children. Having to take care of 13 of his own children was very difficult, but that did not stop him from singing.
3. How did Bob inspire millions?
When Bob was becoming more famous he wanted to change the world and help people, so he became an activist and tried to stop racism (“How did Bob Marley inspire millions?”). He believed in freedom and living life to the fullest. With the work he has done he found out about other people were facing troubles just like him, so he wrote songs about those people such as “Don’t worry, be Happy”. After inspiring millions when he was alive, his songs and what he did still inspires people today.
